And due to obstruction in the function of these glands. we have to face many types of diseases. because our mind has the reverse effect on our body. If we do not remain healthy with the mind. then we cannot remain healthy with the body.
That’s why we can activate and strengthen our nerves through yoga. so we will discuss one by one yoga poses for anxiety and depression. Such as Sethubandha Asana, Matsyasana and Paschimottanasana etc. Asana has been described to strengthen the digestive system, as well Shavasana, Balasana and Parvatasana etc.
To strengthen the nervous system and endocrine glands. Therefore yoga is a best way to increase Serotonin Production. Serotonin is the key hormone that stabilizes our mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness. Imbalance (lower ) in serotonin levels may influence mood in a way that leads to anxiety & depression.

2. Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog) :-

Precautions- Strictly avoid if you have neck injury or are suffering from spondylitis.Pregnant women should avoid it, because this pose places a lot of pressure on the internal organs which can be harmful to the baby.
4. Child’s Pose (Balasana):- This pose gives you a feel of groudness & you feel calm easily.
Benefits– Releases tension in the back, shoulders and chest. Boosts Blood Circulation. Therefore it helps in calming the brain. Also helps to relieve stress and fatigue. It’s great for your digestion.
Precautions:- Avoid if you have Diarrhea. or Pregnant or have knee injury.
5. Seated Forward Bend (Paschimottanasana):-
Forward bends always help to relieve feelings of anxiety and stress. Be it a seating pose or standing pose like Standing Forward Bend (Uttanasana).
Precautions:- Avoid the forward fold asana if you suffer from high blood pressure. Similarly, Pregnant women should take extra care or can perform under any guidance.
6. Matsyasana (Fish Pose) :- A heart opener pose.

Prana Mudra :- Mudra for life.The tips of thumb, ring finger and little finger are joined together keeping the remaining fingers straight and relaxed.It makes body and mind stable.Mudra can be safely practised 15-20 minutes in a day. After that Once you feel more balanced and calm do analyse your situation.
